The Laramie Garden Club is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization that was formed in 1960 to serve the community of Laramie and be a resource to fellow gardeners. A primary objective of the Garden Club is to foster appreciation and practice of all aspects of gardening through education and the support of community beautification projects. We have approximately 50 active members, many of whom have lived in Laramie for decades and are as experience Laramie gardeners as they come!
Laramie Garden Club meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month, January-May, and August-October. Each meeting has a business component and a program component; the programs vary each month to include a variety of garden-related topics.
Membership to the Laramie Garden Club requires a $5 due payment at the start of your involvement and every January of each year you wish to participate – we accept members at any time of the year! Our membership currently stands at 100+ individuals in Laramie and the surrounding area.

The Laramie Garden Club hosts one major event each summer, the Plant Sale, held each May or June. The Plant Sale is the Garden Club’s primary source of income, which gets reinvested into the community gardens the Club maintains around Laramie.
The community gardens the Garden Club supports and maintains include the Albany County Public Library, Albany County Courthouse, the Children’s Garden in LaBonte Park (shown left), Laramie Plains Museum and the Eppson Center.
